'Every Story' is our first single release of 2020. It was written and recorded entirely in lockdown and will be included in our forthcoming album.
Featuring a catchy, infectious up-beat chorus in a modern country / Americana style 'Every Story' is a reaction to taking everything at face value. The lyrics feature three mini-stories featuring fictional characters whose back stories are more complex than they first appear. Acoustic guitar, banjo and drums give verses a traditional country feel while the chorus offers a more modern, country pop / rock vibe.
The words make you want to listen, to appreciate the stories contained in it, but you just can’t help tapping your foot and starting to sing along. The music draws you in just as much as the stories do!
